FAQ for groups

Group sales are available for any party of 10 or more individuals attending the same performance, for most of our presentations.

Groups of 50+ often enjoy deeper savings, so bring as many people as you’d like! We have accommodated groups of up to 600 before, and would love to discuss your individual group’s needs.

We can seat your group anywhere in the theatre, if the seats are available.

We can also offer your group seats in different sections of the theatre to allow for different pricing levels, as long as they add up to a minimum of 10 tickets at the same performance.

See a complete seating chart of the venue.

Group prices vary depending on where you sit in the theatre and the date/time of the performance. The best thing to do is to complete this form. We’ll be in touch within 2-3 business days to begin your personalized booking process and provide you with relevant group pricing.

Payment should be made by one (1) credit card, check, or money order, for the group as an entirety. No single or per-seat payments will be accepted.

Credit cards are accepted via your Account Manager dashboard and corresponding invoice.

If paying by check or money order, mail payment and copy of your signed invoice to: Attn: Group Sales, Broadway at The National, 1321 Pennsylvania Ave. NW, Washington, DC 20004. Checks should be made payable to National Theatre Group.

Unless otherwise stated, a deposit of at least ten percent (10%) of the total payment must be received within ten (10) days of the initial reservation. Ten percent (10%) of total payment will be calculated and then rounded up to the closest total ticket price. No reservation is guaranteed until deposit is received.

The remaining balance is due no later than four (4) weeks prior to the performance date. In the event that a group order is placed within four (4) weeks of a performance, then full payment must be made immediately upon reservation.

Please refer to your invoice(s) on your Account Manager dashboard for exact due dates.

You may decrease the number of tickets (but not below 10, the group minimum) until the final payment is made, and receive credit against the balance.

Deposits are non-refundable, but may be converted to full price single tickets in the event that a group does fall beneath the required number of participants for a group.

Additional tickets may be reserved at the group rate up to two business days before the performance, if available. An additional $15.00 fee shall be added each time.

All patrons must present a ticket for entry to all ticketed performances. It is the policy of our theatre that children under the age of 4 will not be admitted, and many shows have their own “recommended age” as well. Please refer to our individual show pages for this detail.

Your phone is your ticket. We are now using contactless ticketing, so please download your mobile ticket and save it to your smartphone’s wallet app before arriving to the theatre. To access your tickets please log in to your Account Manager on your smartphone or mobile device.
